Q. Where do you shop for your fishing supplies?
A. We are lucky to have many options these days, both in stores and online. I like to shop at local tackle stores, whether I’m at home or traveling to new lakes. These traditional tackle shops often have some very good local fishermen, and they usually stock the lures that are most productive for that area. Furthermore, their employees often know a lot about local fishing and a lot of the best fishermen from the area stop in. If you shop there a few times, you’ll see familiar faces and you’ll often pick up a few tips on the hottest places to fish or the best baits.
