Q. How do I keep my line from getting tangled on logs or other debris in the water?
A. Many lures have concealed hooks, like frogs and Texas-rigged worms. These can be worked through wood with very few hang ups, but it takes a bit of patience and practice. Also, many hooks come with a wire or fiber weed guard, and these help protect the hook from snags, too.
